The Latest Happenings at CIS! Mr. Sampler’s Spotlight— Friday is Veteran’s Day. Take time to show the respect that all soldiers deserve. Please use good judgment when it is wet outside. Continue to take pride in our school. 3rd Grade News Mrs. Gates–Our class enjoyed working on their veteran’s folder. They wrote the Pledge of Allegiance in cursive. They made their turkey’s from pine cones. Mrs. Pennington—Our class has 4 students that has a birthday. They are: Sarah Nunley, Katie Whitney, Jeremy Roberts, and Jacob Abercombrie. Mrs. Probst—Our class is working on the writing process and adaptation. She has 3 students with

birthdays. They are: Kaley, Landon, and Sara P. Mrs. Scroggins-Our class is going to talk about Veteran’s Day. We are also working on Thanksgiving activities.

Mr. Horsey was interviewed and he said that he enjoys his job. He likes making the menu and being around the kids. He is always wondering if the students and teachers like the meals because he works hard at trying to make healthy meals that are tasty.
