DASC Executive Board Meeting Minutes October 21, 2014

Board Members in Attendance: Stewart B, Erin S, Erin T, Jim B, Keith M, Mike F (staff)

Meeting called to order at 8:02 pm

Tournament Director’s Report  

Shootout budget was reviewed Profit was lower, but in-line based upon vouchers used from last year.

Treasurer’s Report Monthly income and expense report distributed.

Registrar’s Report   

Spring reigistration will be 17JAN2015 & Fall will be on 14MAR2015. Fall 2015 costs will change to the following: $50.00 up to U8, $75.00 up to U10 and $95.00 U12+ 2015 Spring assessment dates discussion was tabled.

U6-U8 Program  

City Islanders youth partnership was discussed, voted on and approved (with minor changes) Farmer’s Fair was a success with 2 obstacle courses. The tunnel was not set-up due to muddy conditions. The tournament for this age group will be this Saturday 1:30-5:30 at Chestnut Park. The tunnel will be set-up and Crazy Maisy’s ice cream truck will be there.

2014 DASC award ceremony. No volunteers at this time to run the event. Item tabled. 2015 Shamrock Shootout. Discussion of having Jodi M direct the event. UK to supply a new proposal as well. Tabled until next meeting.
