Dear Parents and Carers,
As some of you are aware a special young, talented and inspiring little girl in Year 6 was diagnosed with leukaemia earlier this year. This strong and brave girl made the decision herself to have her hair cut and donate it to Princes Trust!! F.O.T.H.S wanted to help too, as in times like this we all need some love and support. We would just like to take this moment to say THANK YOU. The donations received for a non school uniform day, a cake sale, donations given at the F.O.T.H.S BBQ and donations from teachers have raised a MASSIVE £846.10!! But F.O.T.H.S being parents and/or carers ourselves decided to make this amount up to £1000.00!! This money will be donated in Ellie’s name to Ronald McDonald Tooting house (instead of the Lollypops charity) as without support from Ronald McDonald’s house Ellie’s family would not be able to stay together. We feel that this is the best way to show our support! So thank you for every penny donated and we hope that you continue to show your support throughout next school year!! Good luck Ellie and we as a school and community wish you well and send our love and support to you and your family!! Ellie if you read this letter which no doubt you will.
