THE SCHOOL:



St. Patrick-St. Vincent Catholic High School (SPSV), a Diocesan, co-educational, college preparatory high school in Vallejo, CA, has an opening for Development Director. SPSV is the only Catholic high school in Solano County. We have a proud history of serving families in the Diocese of Sacramento and surrounding areas since 1870. We offer a comprehensive Catholic high school experience for over 475 students, with challenging academic programs that help them develop the skills needed to become thinking, productive, responsible citizens. SPSV also offers active co-curricular participation in a variety of athletic programs, a robust choir and theatre program, as well as an active campus ministry and social justice program.



SPSV is fully accredited by the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).

St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School, a Catholic college preparatory high school in the Diocese of Sacramento, challenges its diverse student population to seek truth as creative, complex thinkers-- and to be responsible citizens and compassionate individuals who share their gifts with others.



THE OPPORTUNITY:



SPSV is seeking a Development Director to lead the fundraising and community relations program in support of the school’s mission. The Development Director reports to the President, and works with the Board of Regents, Parents Club, Athletic Boosters and the Development Department to set and reach annual fundraising goals.





PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: ●

Oversees all fundraising activities at SPSV including, but not limited to, the following: ○ Annual Fund ○ The Bridge newsletter publication ○ Board of Regents, Athletic Boosters and Parents Club events ○ Annual memorial golf tournament Establishes and manages the overall strategic plan for development with specific and measurable fundraising--and constituency-relations goals and objectives--in support of the school’s mission and Catholic identity Coordinate and attend the Regents, Boosters and Parents Club meetings Initiate the use of Raiser's Edge to automate and track all fundraising efforts Works with internal and external partners to design, coordinate and implement a communications program in support of development goals Represents the school and its development objectives at all school community meetings and events Serve as a member of the President’ Cabinet Participate as a member of the strategic planning team Other duties as assigned





MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



The Development Director must have demonstrated experience and success in coordinating fundraising activities for a non-profit institution, and experience with Catholic education is preferred. The Director must demonstrate the ability to plan and lead events, large and small, as well as volunteer teams to reach stated fundraising goals. Bring a sense of humor and fun to the team while maintaining focus on department goals. The ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends when necessary.
