News ~We had such a wonderful time at the Nimbus Fish Hatchery last week. Thank you to everyone that was able to attend and drive. The children enjoyed learning about fish and even seeing some real salmon and eggs! ~This Friday, February 3rd, is our 100th day of school!! Kindergarten celebrates this special day in a BIG way. We have a parade, a party, and we would love to have some parent volunteers to help. If you are available to come in and help with some of the activities in the morning, please email Ms. Penny. We’d love to have you! If you are willing to donate snack, we have some special requests for that day. Email Ms. Penny if you can help provide snacks. ~ We are in need of snack for the next few weeks. Please email Ms. Penny if you previously signed up or would like to bring snack for the weeks of: Jan 30th ,Feb 6th, or Feb 13th Thanks!!

The next Pelican class field trip will be Friday, March 31st at Effie Yeaw Nature Center. Unless you prepaid at the beginning of the year, the cost is $6, including adults. Look for the permission slip to come home in March. Our field trip to the Nimbus Fish Hatchery was so much fun! We learned about the life cycle of a Salmon, we took a walk along the river to see fish and birds. We got to feed some baby trout, and even got to play in a giant fish! We had a great time!
