27th January 2016 Year 6 Theatre Trip - Gangsta Granny Wednesday 10th February 2016 Dear Parent/Carer, The Year 6 trip to see Gangsta Granny at Milton Keynes Theatre is fast approaching and pupils and staff are really looking forward to seeing this live theatre production. On the day of the trip pupils should arrive at school at the normal time, in full school uniform. We will be leaving school at 9am. The show starts at 10:30am and lasts for 2 hours and 10 minutes, including an interval of 20 minutes. We will then travel back to school, arriving at approximately 1:30pm. Pupils will then eat their lunch and have a break outside before returning to their lessons. As we will be arriving back to school at the end of the normal school lunchtime all pupils will need to have a packed lunch on this day. If your child receives free school meals please complete the slip at the bottom of this letter and return to school by Monday 1st February. All other pupils must bring their own packed lunch to school to be eaten on our return to school. Pupils will be eating their lunch slightly later than usual therefore you may wish to provide an additional snack for your child to have which they will eat during the interval. If your child suffers from travel sickness please ensure they have taken any appropriate medication before arriving at school. If you feel that your child may need additional medication for the return journey to school please complete the slip at the bottom of this letter and on the day of the trip send your child in to school with their medication in a named envelope or packet. If you have any further questions about the trip please do not hesitate to contact me.
