2010 Review (Not So Good) • • • • • • •

OVFL Fines increased (many in appeal) To Many Players Truant on Payments To Many Players not Return Equipment On Time Increase in Parental Issues To Many players Quit during season Varsity Forfeit to Sault Ste. Marie All Canadian Gridiron Black Eye !!!!!!

Areas of Improvement • Communications to Members & Members Communication to Directors & CMFA • We need to figure out how to Communicate to Teenagers & Parents. Open to input. • Parents/Players need to check and act on information provided • Communicate a clear code of Ethics & Expectations • Communicate Expectations of being in a Rep Calibre Football Environment to Players & Parents

Areas of Improvement • Prepare Players for University Level Football – We have not done a good job as the Lions focusing on this – I have focused on On Field Performance and have not established Post Secondary Contacts – Players have been having to develop themselves. – Bob Sauer is going to take on this role to establish contacts and understand what is required to assist Players and Parents – Entire Varsity Coaching Staff is affiliated with Local Universities – Varsity players will be getting a University type of program (Anthony to explain further) – Tom Evans back involved in Program at Varsity Level
