White peach, pear and apricot on the first taste, with secondary notes of basil and fresh herbs. As I guessed, this wine is busting out with vibrancy. Bright acidity and fresh fruit, angular but with a blanket of ripe white melon and lychee. A wonderful slight bitter edge on the finish, which give this wine such a unique and wonderful flavor. This is a real winner! There are so many possibilities for pairings; fresh fruit segments over a bed of baby arugula and herbs, any type of shellfish, particularly a simple grilled white fish, or mussels and fries in a white wine broth.
