Direct Sales Coordinator, Macquarie Radio Network Sales coordinators are important members of a company’s sales team. By supporting sales representatives and coordinating sales-related activities within the company, they contribute to achieving sales targets and budgets. Sales coordinators require excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills, together with an ability to deliver high standards of customer service. This is a varied and demanding role. You will require the ability to prioritise and multi task as well as balance a variety of tasks throughout the day. Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail is imperative to joining what is currently an extremely successful, driven and motivated sales team. Some of the duties of our coordinators include: • Assisting the sales managers and sales department to manage monthly and annual quotas. • Scheduling meetings and preparing presentations to be presented to clients • Handling bookings and maintaining business communications with clients before, during and after a sale • Maintaining and tracking sponsorships and databases • Assisting in reception • Administrative tasks may also be required Skills required for consideration of the position: • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) are crucial • Must be good and effective communicators and team player • Must also have a high level of organizational skills within a fast pace client focused environment. • Show initiative and have excellent attention to detail • The work is extremely demanding, revenue and rating-focussed, so having a passion for radio and media is important.
