positive attitude on display as a role model for his peers. When tasks become difficult to solve or he makes a mistake in his work, he is eager to find out how to solve or correct it, without complaining or becoming discouraged. He has been a joy to teach in 6th grade this year, and I am confident he will be successful as he moves up through jr. high and high school. His positive attitude will be a great asset for him.

such a long way since I taught her in 6th grade three years ago.  She struggled so much with her attitude toward school in 6th and 7th grade.  Now that she's in 8th grade, she works so hard.  She turns in all assignments by the due dates, studies for tests, never complains about an assignment or assessment, and makes all corrections offered to her.  I rarely see Marissa without a smile on her face. and she's always kind.  For these reasons, I nominate her for this recognition.

Olivia Henson is always super helpful. She comes in with a smile every day. She never lets a challenge get her down and always puts forth her best effort in everything she does. She carries a great smiling and positive attitude everywhere she goes.

Emma Schuster always has a smile on her face and lights up the room when she walks in. She works to cheer everyone up and keep people in a good mood. When faced with a challenge, Emma keeps her chin up and gives it 110%. She doesn't let setbacks affect her attitude about life. She always looks on the bright side of things :)

Brittany Shaffer is the type of person who always has a positive attitude.  She is always willing to learn from her mistakes and always puts 100% effort into everything she does.  She encourages others to always do their best.  You will never find a time that Brittany doesn't have a smile on her face!

Toby Truitt and Sam Jones (not pictured) have great attitudes. Just about every single day when I come into the building from bus duty, one of them will always be standing there holding the door open for me. Makes a big difference in my day. They started it early in the year and have done it the entire time. Awesome...

Jordyn Watson is always prepared for class and maintains a positive demeanor despite external stresses. As we all know, students are required to maintain an extreme level of focus as they face multiple consecutive end of course exams. Jordyn is able to not only stay focused on her course work, but she approaches each assignment/assessment with
