You are cordially invited to attend Netcong Recreation’s annual Holiday Parade. On December 4th, just prior to our annual tree lighting ceremony, Recreation will sponsor our annual Holiday Parade. The Netcong Recreation Commission invites you to attend their Annual Holiday Parade! This event will be combined with the annual tree lighting ceremony on Sunday December 4th and will provide a magical experience for the entire community. The parade will kick off at 5 pm sharp and will begin on Allen Street at the corner of College Road, ending at the Netcong Company #1 Fire House on Maple Avenue*. The annual tree lighting ceremony will follow. The parade entries can include decorated floats, vehicles (to include police cars, fire trucks, ambulances), as well as marching groups (must have organized procession). Prizes will be awarded!! We do ask that you refrain from bringing a Santa as we would like that to be a surprise at the end of the parade on the last truck.
2016 Parade Participant Registration Form Requirements: All floats, individual vehicles, and groups must be seasonal in theme with lights. All floats must be motorized or pulled by some type of motor vehicle Marching groups must have an organized procession Absolutely no walkers along floats or vehicles. All participants must be registered in advance, no exceptions Event is rain or shine Registration deadline is November 30th. *Parade route subject to change

Entry contact listed must read, sign, and abide by the following, and is responsible for insuring all participants, understand and abide by the information below. The Netcong Recreation Holiday Parade takes place at 5:00 pm on Sunday December 4th, 2016. All entries are expected to check-in between 3:00 and 3:30 pm at the Netcong Elementary School. (Parade starting point will be at the corner of Allen Street and College Road with vehicles/floats lining up on College Road ) Do not throw anything during the parade. Please do not stop along the parade route. All floats/vehicles are responsible for having liability insurance, and must be able to provide documented proof of such prior to event. In consideration of the acceptance of this application, the applicant agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Borough of Netcong, its members, employees, and representatives from and against any and all liability, loss, cost, damage and expenses, including damage to any real property or personality including costs and attorney fees in defense thereof because of actions, claims, or lawsuits for damages of any kind and description which arises from or any manner results from the applicant’s participation in the Netcong Recreation Holiday Parade.
