BUDGET & INFRASTRUCTURE CLOSED COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES OF TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2017 To take a close look at our budget process and develop a new model for how we fund infrastructure. A Closed meeting of the Budget & Infrastructure Committee of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Heritage Room, City Hall, 2580 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam, on February 7, 2017, 6:55 pm. ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA It was moved and seconded: That the Closed Agenda of the February 7, 2017 Budget & Infrastructure Committee meeting be adopted. Carried

REPORTS 2.1 Fire DP Follow Up Report It was moved and seconded that at the next meeting there be a detailed discussion on Fire Department service levels. Amendment to the main motion: It was moved and seconded that staff bring back a strategy and options to implement the revenue opportunities. Carried Amended main motion: That staff bring back a strategy and options to implement the following revenue opportunities in the 2017 budget: Initial Inspection Fees, Re-Inspection Fees, False Alarms Fees (over 2), Fire Safety Plan reviews, New Business License Reviews/Inspections and Lift Assists over 2 per address. Carried

ADJOURNMENT It was moved and seconded: That the Closed Budget & Infrastructure Committee meeting of February 7, 2017 be adjourned at 8:40 pm. Carried
