Believing in the Biblical concept of family, we come to this Family Camp: 1. To strengthen our tie to and love for God; 2. To nurture and provide a strong family tie among our family through family Bible study, prayer, worship and recreation; and 3. To accept the bond of the Camp Family by participating with our whole family in the total planned program of the week. 4. Having read this covenant and agreeing to it, we submit our registration for Family Camp.
THE PURPOSE of Family Camp is to provide an opportunity, in a Christian setting, for families to get to know each other and other families. Strong family ties are nurtured through family Bible reading, prayer and recreation. All families who register are expected to participate in the total planned program for the week. MORNINGS BEGIN with presentations designed to stimulate discussion concerning the family. Afternoons are left open so families can do a little sight-seeing or just relax around camp. There’s always some side-splitting fun after supper, then things slow things down a bit with vespers and singing and sharing around the campfire. FELLOWSHIP LODGE offers a craftshop, laundry facility, additional meeting space, camp store and gift shop. EACH CABIN holds eight people. Single bunks are built into the walls of the knotty pine cabins, which feature fireplaces and cold running water in the restrooms. No cooking is permitted in cabins. Hot water showers are located in the central showerhouse. A LIMITED NUMBER OF TENT AND RV SITES with electric and water hook-ups are available. Family campers who use their own accommodations receive a 15 percent discount. All meals are taken in the dining room.
FAMILY CAMP I Deadline for Registration: June 19, 2017 FAMILY CAMP II Deadline for Registration: July 17, 2017 COST: Adults (18 and older) $310 Adults (62 and older) $200 Children (10 to 17) $225 Children (3 to 9) $125 Minimum cabin rental is $1000. FAMILIES MUST FURNISH their own bedding, pillows, and towels. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED! REGISTRATION: A $75 non-refundable deposit must accompany each registration and will be considered part of the total fee. Each family must pay for the full week, regardless of arrival or departure time, and whether or not all meals are taken at camp. FULL PAYMENT must be sent to the below address by the deadline for each camp. No money will be accepted at camp. A $20 late registration fee will be charged after the deadline, and a $5 fee will be added for all registration changes after the deadline.
