2017 NORTHRIDGE INVITATIONAL March 16 &17- Multi Events March 18- Invitational

You are invited to participate in the Northridge Invitational on our brand new surface and the CSUN track & field facility. Competition is open to university, junior college and open athletes, both men and women. We anticipate running heats in all events, with the top nine fastest entered times forming the first heat, etc.

ENTRY: All Entries to be done via Direct Athletics. ENTRY DEADLINE: March 14, 2017, 7:00PM. **Be sure to check Final Time Schedule and Final Entries. Invitational Entries will be posted by 12:00Noon Thursday March 16. We will try to streamline the Meet schedule as much as possible. ENTRY FEE NCAA- $25 per person. Maximum Team Entry: $325.00 FOR MEN OR WOMEN. $650.00 FOR BOTH MEN AND WOMEN COMBINED JUNIOR COLLEGE- Maximum Team Entry: $150 per gender. OPEN/UNATTACHED- $25.00 per entrant (total, not per event) $25.00 per relay entered. ALL UNATTACHED ENTY FEES ARE TO BE PAID UPON ENTRY THROUGH DIRECT ATHLETICS.

TEAM GATE All athletes and coaches will enter the track area through the East gate. CLERK OF COURSE The clerk will be located at the southeast corner of the track. Scratches should be made to the clerk as soon as possible. Please check in 30 minutes ahead of scheduled running event. IMPLEMENT WEIGH-INS FRIDAY Javelin Throw will take place at the track before. Weigh-ins start at 9:00 AM.

SATURDAY Shot, Discus and Hammer throw will be contested at the North Campus throwing facility located North of Lassen, West of Zelzah, Near Fullerfarm. Weigh-ins start at 8:00 AM. All implements at North Campus will be weighed in from 9:00 AM until 1:00 p.m. only. No implements will be weighed or allowed into the competition after 1:00 p.m.

WARM-UP All warm-ups will take place on the infield of the track FALSE START RULE - NCAA RULE A false start (1) will eliminate any individual or team from the race. STARTING HEIGHTS Meet management will determine the starting heights after the entry deadline in order to permit the best possible competition. SPIKES 1/4” Pyramid Spikes ONLY.

Competition is open to university, junior college and open athletes, both men and women. ENTRY DEADLINE: March 13, 2017 7:00PM Use Direct Athletics ENTRY FEE $50.00 per person.

No meet day entries. Entry Fees to be paid on directathletics.com
