Thursday, March 29 Men’s Hammer Throw: Georgia’s Denzel Comenentia set a meet and Myers Stadium record with a throw of 76.29 (250-3). It was the ninth-best throw by a collegian all-time. The previous Texas Relays and Myers Stadium record was owned by SMU’s Libor Charfreitag (75.15, 246-6) in 2000. Friday, March 30 Women’s Triple Jump: Tori Franklin (unattached) set the meet record with a jump of 14.48 (476.5) to win the event. The mark makes her the No. 2 performer in American history behind Keturah Orji’s mark of 14.71 set in 2016. The previous meet and facility record was owned by LSU’s Keisha Spencer (2000) with a mark of 13.97 (45-10). Women’s 400-meter Hurdles Invitational: Former Texas Longhorn Ashley Spencer ran a 56.43 to set a new Texas Relays record. She bested TaNisha Mills’ (Sheffield Elite) previous mark of 56.54 set in 2005. Boys’ Javelin Throw: Parkview Baptist senior Tzuriel Pedigo set a new meet record with a throw of 234-11. The previous best was owned by Pedigo, a toss of 204-8 set last year. Saturday, March 31 Men’s Pole Vault Elite: Renaud Lavillenie (France), the World Record holder, Shawn Barber (Canada), the previous meet record holder and Canadian record holder and Armand Duplantis all cleared 5.92 (19-5) to set a new Texas Relays and Mike A. Myers Stadium record. Duplantis also set a new World Junior record (Under 20) by clearing that mark. Women’s 4x800 Relay: Texas A&M’s relay team of Sammy Watson, Jean Jenkins, Brittany Parker and Jazmine Fray set a Texas Relays record with a time of 8:29.25. The previous record has held up since 1986 when Texas ran an 8:29.77. It is also a Myers Stadium record. The previous record was owned by UCLA (8:33.21) set in 2001.

Women’s Pole Vault University Elite: Jenn Suhr broke the meet and facility record with a jump of 4.83 (15-10). The previous record was owned by her (4.73, 15-6.25) set last year at Texas Relays. Virginia Tech freshman Lisa Gunnarsson broke the Texas Relays women’s collegiate record with a jump of 4.60 (15-1). It was tied for the seventh-best jump in collegiate history. Girls’ Triple Jump: Jasmine Moore of Mansfield Lake Ridge broke the meet record with a jump of 44-1.00. She broke the previous meet record of 43-1.50 owned by Erica McLain (Plano East) in 2004. Moore’s jump is No. 6 in American history in the girls’ triple jump. Boys’ 4x100 D1: Bishop Dunne set a new meet record with a time of 41.12. The meet record, set in 2010, was previously owned by Orange West Orange-Stark (41.40). Women’s 1500m Section A: Dana Mecke of Texas Pro Elite TC set a new Texas Relays record with a time of 4:13.53. The previous meet record was held by F. Lanteu-Smith (4:13.91) set in 1991. Men’s 200m Invitational: Houston’s Elijah Hall (20.11) set a new Texas Relays record. It was previously held by Ameer Webb (20.38) of Flynn’s Flyers, set in 2014.
