2018 Vertfest Clinics: 1PM-4PM Companion Rescue Description: Are your rescue skills tuned up? Practice and refine your companion rescue response, from scene safety to strategic shoveling. Since rescue skills are perishable, yearly practice is a minimum for backcountry travelers. Clinic taught by qualified AIARE instructors.

Pre-requisites: Basic knowledge of beacon function
Optional: thermos, snowshoes, touring gear
Fitness compatible with walking and shoveling in deep snow.
