Welcome Back I hope that you all had a lovely week away. We are very pleased to say that the school office is now functioning as normal. Year 1 Classroom The Year 1 classroom has been refurbished over the holiday with lovely new furniture. It is looking wonderful and is a lovely new environment for the children to be working in. Breakfast Club and After School Club If you have any games or puzzles at home which are no longer used we would appreciate if they could be donated to the school for the Breakfast and After School Clubs. Please ensure that it is not broken and that it still has all of the pieces. Thank you. Football The Year 3/4s played a football tournament at St Clere’s on Friday 23rd October. We are so proud of them and their achievements. They worked so hard and gained 4th place. Well done to you all, you were fantastic!! Uniform Please note that nail varnish and fake tattoos are not allowed to be worn during school time. Swimming Please ensure that your child has a warm coat for walking to and from swimming even if your child is not taking part in the swimming lessons as they will all be walking there and back. Thank you. Charities There are always lots of exciting fundraising events happening throughout the year. As a school we make decisions as to which charities we wish to support. This term we have supported MacMillan and we will be supporting Save the Children—Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 18th December. For Children in Need there will be collection buckets in the main office and by the entrance doors if you wish to make a donation. Thank you for your continued support.
