LAST WEEK Men’s volleyball traveled to California for spring break to play two matches against California Lutheran University. The Eagles beat the Kingsmen twice. Kyle VanStedum had a season high 13 kills in their second match while Elijah Medlock had a team high 12 kills in the first match. PMS 123 C PMS 125 C

IN THE RANKINGS Benedictine men’s volleyball garnered their highest AVCA Coaches Poll ranking to date... the Eagles are now ranked #5 in the nation! ABOUT BENEDICTINE The Eagles are currently on an eight game win streak and are tied for first (with Dominican) in the conference with a 7-1 NACC mark. On April 9, BenU took down two nationally ranked opponents followed by a 3-1 win over the #15 team MSOE. BenU is led by Adriel Rivas who has 223 total kills and 3.01 kills per set. ABOUT LAKELAND The Muskies are 9-15 overall and 4-5 in NACC play and most recently beat MSOE 3-1. Lakeland is led by Dakota Hunter who has 257 total kills and 2.73 kills per set. UP NEXT Men’s volleyball has two more home matches on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Marian at 1:00 pm and Maranatha Baptist at 3:00 pm in the Rice Center.
