5th October 2015 Dear Parent / Guardian, You will be aware, that throughout the academic year, we plan various workshops for our Year 13 students to prepare them for their future pathways. On Wednesday 14th October, whilst the rest of the school are taking part in a range of extra-curricular activities, we have planned a university transition day. I would also like to make you aware of the following opportunities: - Parents’ study skills workshop Wednesday 14th October from 5pm to 6pm in the Hayward Theatre The workshop will focus on how parents can extend school learning to home and support their son/daughter by using different study skills. -
Student Finance for university applicants Thursday 15th October from 6pm to 6.30pm in the Hayward Theatre Our speaker from Student Finance England will give a detailed presentation about applying for a student loan and answer any questions you may have.

UCAS university application – What happens next? Thursday 15th October from 6.30pm to 7pm in the Hayward Theatre The session will cover the process from the time the application is sent to UCAS. It will cover university offers, firm and insurance choices, clearing, adjustments and results’ day acceptance of place.
