ACTIVITY SUMMARY

Have students draw qualities/write words that they associate with leadership inside of the body. Outside of the body, they can put words/images that are associated with qualities that leaders do not exhibit. Afterwards, you can use a white board or large sheet of paper to combine the ideas of all students while discussing.

Instructions: Inside the body, draw pictures or add words to symbolize qualities a leader should have. On the outside, draw pictures or add words to symbolize qualities that leaders should not have.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS Review these questions with the group as a whole. Be sure to allow everyone a chance to speak and share their ideas. Feel free to add any other questions you want to ask as well! The primary point of these questions is to highlight how there is no single leadership style—everyone is different and people look for different qualities in a leader.
