[email protected] Web site www.ladymargaret.ealing sch.uk Dear parents and carers
This week Class 2SO entertained us with their assembly on the topic of recycling which is part of Lady Margaret School’s drive to becoming a green school. A school of children and staff that care about the environment that surrounds us and how we can look after it. The children talked about what we can recycle as well as what resources we can save by being more thoughtful such as turning taps and lights off. These are suggestions we can all follow at home and at school. Can you think of some more? Well done class 2SO for not only entertaining us but for making us look after our planet.
E-Safety Tips Have family rules about how the internet will be used at home and be clear about what information is safe to share online. Make sure you know what your children are doing online much like you would in “real” life and use parental controls (on computers, mobile phones and games consoles) to help you.
Make
sure that your children are aware that people or websites can lie online.
Library open Parents, carers and children are welcome to join us in our library every Monday after school 3.15-4.00pm. Please view the books, read together or listen to this week’s chosen text being read aloud. All welcome.
Right Respecting
Article 40
You have the right to legal help and fair treatment in the justice system that respects your rights.
Discussion point with parents What is the difference between discipline and punishment? What types of punishment and discipline methods are there? What would you be acceptable for your family with your children if a situation arose that you agreed would require a form of punishment? Please discuss this with your children and your family.
PSA The PSA are now taking table bookings for the summer fair, to be held on Friday 26 th June. Please leave your contact details in the PSA comment box in the reception area.
