Supplies: For Project 1: Lovely Layers Decoupage Vase       

7” ceramic or glass bottle 1/8 yd. of 6 different 44” wide quilting weight cotton prints 1 jar Mod Podge (8 oz. jar) 1 foam craft brush Newspaper for each clean up Ruler or measuring tape scissors

For Project 2: Graceful Lariat         

¼ yd. each of 4 prints 2 large pendants with openings or bails large enough for fabric tubes to pass through Assorted glass, wood or bone beads with medium to large openings Scrap piece of yarn (about ½ yard) in a matching color Coordinating thread Tube turner Scissors Tape measure or ruler Pins

For Project 3: Velma’s Flying Geese Pillow           

You will need enough vintage silk ties to make 35 – 3” x 5 ¼” flying geese rectangles. Each rectangle is made up of two different ties, so, you will need enough ties to make up a variety of different looks for each block. 1 yard 44” wide quilters cotton for the pillow back and binding 1.25 yards of interfacing 2 12 oz. bags of Nature-fil blended fiberfill 1 yard of muslin 1 spool of all-purpose thread 1 pkg. large safety pins for quilting Pins Scissors Tape measure or ruler Hand-sewing needle

Allow extra yardage for matching or centering a design on your fabric. The bag can be made using 44” wide quilting OR 54” wide mid-weight home decor fabrics, please see the chart below.

INTERFACING / NOTIONS NEEDED 

20” wide fusible woven interfacing



1 spool of coordinating all-purpose thread



1 spool of Button and Carpet thread (I use Coats brand.)



NOTE: In place of the leather straps, an optional fabric strap will be made with the given yardage in class

Please check the chart above for the amount required. Make sure you pre-wash the interfacing following the manufacturer's instructions.

TOOLS NEEDED:            

Scissors, Straight pins, Chalk pencil, Iron and Ironing board, Pressing cloth, Measuring tape or ruler, 1 Standard hand-sewing needle, 1 Large-eyed hand-sewing needle, 1 pkg. of sewing machine needles (size 90/14), Turning tool (such as a closed pair of scissors), Nail and hammer, Large safety pin (for Optional Fabric Strap)

The amount of fabric required depends on the size of the picture frame that you use. Measure the width and length of the opening in the back of the frame. Then add 8” to both the width and length to calculate the size of the fabric pieces you will need of the following:                

44” wide cotton quilting print for the Picture Front 44” wide muslin for the picture back 2 pieces of high-loft batting 1 spool of transparent nylon thread Picture frame 1 roll duct tape Foam core board (you will need a piece the size of the back frame opening if your frame has a deep edge) Poster board (you will need a piece the size of the back frame opening if your frame has a shallow edge) Piece of sturdy cardboard to cover the back of the frame Staple gun and staples Darning or free motion sewing machine foot Walking foot for your sewing machine Large safety pins 24” quilting ruler Rotary cutter and mat Chalk pencil or fabric marker

For Project 6: The Miz Mozelle Dress A dress full of sweet happiness! This vintage inspired dress features a peter pan collar, elastic waist, and a keyhole neckline buttoned at the top.
