*Janice, a 33 year old mother of three came to Safe Alliance. After her husband, the abuser, bit her face and tried to strangle her. Janice arrived frightened, angry, and depressed that she had been unable to protect her children. Safe Alliance helped her obtain a domestic violence protective order and really focused on helping Janice through the trauma she had suffered. Case managers helped her create a plan for her future. After two months of being employed at her new job, Janice had enough saved up for a rent deposit. At her new home, Janice continues to
