CCIM Middle TN Chapter 2018 Scholarship Program
Scholarship Program Guidelines
The Middle TN CCIM Chapter strongly believes in the premier education taught by the CCIM Institute and as a result, distributes what we call, Chapter Scholarships to be used toward any Core courses, the CCR course or Life after the Pin. Such scholarships are to be awarded to those candidates showing serious interest in pursuing the CCIM Designation. These are contributed by the Chapter Sponsors. Recipient should exemplify the high caliber of professionals that comprise the CCIM Institute.
Selection Criteria Includes the following but not limited to:
Each applicant should be able to demonstrate a commitment to a commercial real estate career (see application).
Each applicant should be able to demonstrate active involvement as a dues paying member with the Middle TN CCIM Chapter in the year of application and the year that the course is taken. Each applicant should seek to have a Middle TN CCIM Chapter Designee as a Mentor.
Deadline for Submission to Chapters October 1, 2017.
The Education Chair will then make recommendations to the Middle TN Chapter Board for final selection. NO electronic materials (other than photos) will be accepted. ALL materials must be mailed or delivered to the Education Chair in completed packets. Failure to do so will result in delay of notification to the recipient. Recipient Notification Letters will be sent on or before December 1, 2017, notifying those selected. NOTE: The course selected can only be taken in 2018. The scholarship cannot be applied retroactively to any course already taken; the award is not redeemable for cash.
Reimbursement Recipients are responsible for making their own travel arrangements, registration and payment for the course.
Once the course is completed and a passed, the chapter will reimburse for the scholarship amount within 7 business days after the Education Chair has received such notification and forwarded on to the Treasurer. Failing the course renders the scholarship null and void.
The Middle TN CCIM Scholarships have been well received and there are many of our Middle TN CCIM Designees and Board members who are products of these awards. We look forward to welcoming more qualified professionals to our ranks. For additional information, please contact: Brian Forrester 2017 Middle TN Chapter Education/Scholarship Chair
