The  Glastonbury  conference  of  St.  Vincent  de  Paul   Society  is  once  again  looking  for  Christmas   sponsors  for  our  less  fortunate  families.    If  you   can  help  it  would  be  greatly  appreciated.    We   know  that  every  one  budget  is  tight  due  to  the   economy.    If  you  cannot  help  with  sponsoring  a   family,  perhaps  you  can  purchase  a  gift  card  in  any  denomination   to  Stop  &  Shop,  Target,  Wal-­‐Mart,  K-­‐Mart,  Kohl’s,  Bob’s,  or  any   kind  of  gas  card.    Please  call  the  parish  office    (860)  633-­‐3317  if   you  would  like  to  help  or  to  learn  more  about  being  a  sponsor.    

GIVING TREE THANKS Thank you for another successful year of the giving tree program. You contributed over 400 gifts of winter clothing, educational toys and gift cards. You have truly made a difference for many families this year. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated.  

“NEW DAY” PROGRAM Our parish will be offering “New Day,” a nine-week program for those who have lost a loved one in death. It will be a time to come together to pray, to understand the grieving process, and to experience the support of a caring community. This program will begin in January 2011, and the day and time will depend on the responses we receive.
