Class: Folded Christmas Wreath Wallhanging

Pattern/Book : Pattern is free at QGOTV.org - Select Chapters, select Patchwork Garden and Download/print. Fabric Needed: ½ yard of light fabric for front and backing (Need total of two 18”X18” squares)** ½ yard batting or 18”X18” square of batting 1 yard green (or 54 – 4 ½ “ X 4 ½ “ squares of assorted greens) ¼ yard green for binding and edging on inside of small circle ¼ yard red (or 9 – 4 ½” X 4 ½ “ squares of assorted reds) ¼ yard red for bow – optional Pre-cut: Binding – 1 ½” X 70” Gathered Edge – 3” X 40” Red Squares: 9 – 4 ½ ” squares Green Squares 54 – 4 ½ “ squares To be able to start construction when class starts: Iron Squares according to pattern directions before class. Basic Tools: Sewing machine (don’t forget foot pedal, cord, bobbin and needles ) Pins, Cutting mat, Rotary Cutter, Small Scissors, Seam ripper (Hopefully you won't use this), Pencil/Fabric marker, Iron and pad: LOTS of ironing. Additional Notes: Chris will be at the November Guild meeting to show wreath and register attendees (with a committee member). Check must be payable to instructor. **If machine quilting top, it is easier to quilt the top/batting/backing before you begin sewing.
