Conference objectives: Dr. Shannon CleverleyThompson is currently serving as Visiting Assistant Professor at St. John Fisher College for the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. School of Education’s Ed.D. Program in Executive Leadership. She has over ten years of leadership experience in higher education administration positions at Keuka College and St. John Fisher College. She also has a strong background in not-for-profit leadership based on her work at the YMCA of Greater Kansas City and the Victorian Council of YMCA in Australia. In her role as Visiting Assistant Professor, Dr. Cleverley-Thompson serves as a dissertation chair, advisor, and teaches Leadership and Cultural Change; Contemporary Issues in Leadership; Applied and Action Research; and Public and Human Relations. Her current research interests include storytelling as a leadership practice and leadership in higher education. Dr. Cleverley-Thompson is also a certified Trained Facilitator of The Leadership Challenge® Workshops which provide individuals with the skills and knowledge to help them meet their leadership challenges. She also serves as an advisor for a college readiness after school club at the University Preparatory Charter School for Young Men in Rochester, NY.
