DRAFT DRWC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING APRIL 6, 2017 MINUTES A meeting of the DRWC Executive Committee was held on March 2, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. at DRWC located at 121 North Columbus Boulevard pursuant to notice duly given under the by-laws and the Pennsylvania Sunshine Act. Attending: Alan Hoffmann, Jay Goldstein, Anne Fadullon, Ellen Yin, Marilyn Jordan Taylor (telephonically) Also attending: Tom Corcoran, Joe Forkin, Lizzie Woods, Karen Thompson, Shelvia Williams, Rinku Modi, Angela Sabatine, Jodie Milkman, Gina DiBiase The minutes of the March 2, 2017 meeting were approved as submitted. Jodie Milkman reported that a press event to announce to 2017 summer season is scheduled for May 5th and invited the board to attend. She added that the annual DRWC Promenade will take place on Tuesday, June 13th at Summerfest and invited the board to the kick- off event scheduled for Monday May 1st at High Street on Market. Karen Thompson reported that the ADA ramps at Market Street are scheduled to be completed by the end of April and that the railing and lights will then be installed. Joe Forkin added that demolition of the scissor ramps will begin after this. Lizzie Woods stated that the Race Street Connector Phase II is moving along and is scheduled to open early this summer. Joe Forkin added that work is currently being done for the pedestrian and bike crossing at the entrance of I95 at Race Street. Joe Forkin reported that the ferry agreement was executed and that early the following week, DRWC will be the owners of the 600-passenger ferry with service scheduled to commence on May 1st. In response to Jay Goldstein, he added that DRWC is working on getting more commuters to utilize the ferry service to cross the river. Lizzie Woods informed the committee that she is working on scheduling a joint Programming/Planning kick off meeting regarding the arts grant. Ms. Woods reported that the relocation of the International Sculpture Garden is still in Phase I and that after feedback from various community groups that the veterans groups expressed concerns and that another meeting has been scheduled with Olin and the veterans groups to address these concerns. The committee then went into executive session. Upon resuming open session, the meeting was open for public comment. There being no public comment, the meeting was adjourned.
