Step 1 — Collet 

Press and hold down on the gear lock button to lock the shaft.



With the lock held down, begin unscrewing the collar wrench.

Step 3 

Remove the collet nut, and poke out the collet.

 If the collet is jammed in the collet nut, more force will need to be applied.
