Instructions Subject: Extended Splash Panel Collector Box These steps are for installation of one kit (020003917 or 020003918) on Servend Ice/Beverage Dispensers with extended splash panel. Not for use with MDH series dispensers.

Tools Required • Phillips Head Screwdriver • Standard Screwdriver or 5/16 Nut Driver

INSTALLATION OF KIT 1. Remove power from the unit. Splash Panel Removal 2. Remove the extended splash panel from the unit by removing the two (2) phillips head screws holding it in place.

Important If the splash panel has ADA key pads they are sealed to the ribbon cables and connected to the control board, gently lay the splash panel in front of the unit being careful not to damage the cables.

3. If installing kit 020003918 skip to Step 8.
Collector Box Bracket
Existing Drain Lines 4. Disconnect the existing insulated ice bin drain lines from the two (2) 90° rubber drain line elbows. (See Figure 1) 5. Remove the two (2) 90° rubber drain line elbows from the ice bin drains. (See Figure 2) Collector Box Assembly 6. Mount the collector box bracket by sliding it under the motor box edge and placing the holes over ice bin drains. (See Figure 3) 7. Secure the bracket into place by either reinstalling the 90° rubber elbows or using new ones. (See Figure 3) NOTE: Be sure that the 90° rubber elbows are straight, not at an angle and hold the bracket tight against foam front of the unit, the bracket should not be able to move. (See Figure 3)

8. Screw the drain line fittings into the collector box. (See Figure 4) Collector Box
NOTE: Depending on the drain setup connect the straight fittings to the collector box if the drain lines are to run straight back underneath the unit or the 90° fittings if the drain lines run down through the counter top. (See Figure 4) Straight Fittings
Reinstall the Drain Lines 9. Using the provided radiator clamps connect and secure the drain lines to the collector box fittings with a standard screwdriver or 5/16 nut driver. (See Figure 5)

10. Mount the collector box to the bracket by sliding the right and left bracket tabs into the slots on the collector box. (See Figure 6) NOTE: Be sure the 90° rubber elbows are routed into the collector box. (See Figure 7) Finish Installation 11. Put the extended splash panel back onto the unit and reinstall the two (2) screws that hold it in place. 12. Restore power to the unit.
