Men of FarmHouse and the Women of Kappa Kappa Gamma all painted up for the final performance of Yell Like Hell. The group ended up placing 3rd this year!
Another Homecoming is In The Books! As you may or may not have known, FarmHouse was paired with Kappa Kappa Gamma and ADELANTE for Homecoming 2011. The theme for this year was “Cyclone State of Mind.” Our pairing got 2nd Place overall. Not only did we place 2nd in Homecoming, we also had 2 members on Homecoming Court: William Vincent and Ryan Helling; and 1 member crowned Homecoming King: Andy Pringnitz. Also We placed 2nd

and Kappa Kappa Gamma had around 30 participants. The skit that was created by the YLH Co-Chairs was about Cy Clone getting amnesia by getting hit by a CyRide Bus, and his journey to regain his “Cyclone State of Mind.” In Yell Like Hell our pairing got 3rd Place.
Lawn Display was another huge project. This year we utilized a unique idea that allowed our building to turn into other. The skit associated with it was about a young man and his friends from New York City, who came to the ISU around Homecoming. People on campus would tell the group about all the great opportunities at Iowa State, and at the end he and his friends had gained a “Cyclone State of Mind.” Unfortunately we did not place in Lawn Display; however, we did place better than Alpha Gamma Rho and their pairing.
Overall we are very pleased as a house how we performed. Now as a house we are
looking forward to Varieties with Sigma Kappa, Kappa Alpha Theta, and FIGI; and Greek Week with Delta Delta Delta.

My wife Heather and I are fortunate to reside in Ames and enjoy the opportunity to frequently attend ISU football games, wrestling duals and campus lectures. I did not appreciate how special FarmHouse was until after I finished school, but have fond memories of just hanging out at the house, going to football games, and the periodic trip to 201 Gray to partake in some AGRvating. I am fortunate that the FarmHouse memories continue to this day as I have remained close with several of the guys as we have celebrated and supported each other through many of life's experiences.

The ceremony recognizing the achievements the Iowa State Chapter of FarmHouse has accomplished throughout the chapter’s history.

We are constantly adding alumni to our email list who haven’t been receiving the Lanthus. So if you could help us, by asking your fellow FarmHouse brothers if they do or would like to receive the Lanthus it would be greatly appreciated! Our goal is to stay in touch with as many alumni as possibly! Thanks!
