Call Meeting to Order- 6:34pm by Paul Jensen General membership open forum- No Approve October 2016 Agenda- Motion to approve the October 2016 Meeting agenda was given by Jeff Young and 2nd by Mike VanVoorhis. Motion carries. Approve September 2016 Meeting Minutes- Motion to approve the September 2016 Meeting Minutes was given by Jeff Young and 2nd by Mike VanVoorhis. Motion carries.

Approve September 2016 Gambling Report- Motion to approve the September 2016 Gambling Report as submitted was given by Jeff Young and 2nd by Tim Lill. Motion carries.

Committee Reports a. City Update- Dave Umlauf- There are several new employees to start the season, please make them feel welcome. Need someone to clean the shooting room once every 2 weeks. The city is working on a grant for 2 electric Zambonis. Referee room should be done at the end of the week. Concessions windows and parking lot projects are finished. The city is working on plans for re-configuring the warm viewing area in the South Rink. b. Safe Sport Coordinator- Mike VanVoorhis- Mike is getting ready for Parent Meeting. i. District 15 meeting- Each team must have locker room monitors near locker rooms. c. Concessions- Pam Muxfeldt- Concessions will open on Monday Oct. 11th. d. Promotions- Susan Rohde, Brady Manteufel- Aspire drink sales have started at Target. The coordinator of Aspire said at larger retail areas groups have seen $200-$300 a month raised from this. Smaller areas have seen amounts around $50-$75 a month. i. Brady contacted Subway and he will advertise for us on the signs and get extra staff for the 22nd of Oct. They do their books on the 26th so we will get the total earned then. ii. VFW was added for another Dining Out event and FFHA earns $1 for every lunch sold in the month of January. iii. Out of the budget of $2,500 and so far $1,271 has been spent. e. Fundraising- Brady Manteufel- Dining Out Flyers were handed out at registration nights. Thank you cards will be made for families to hand to the businesses. f. Equipment- Louis Karsnia- Veterans Park, “Thank You for FFHA’s donation” i. Louis would like to set a different equipment fitting date for registration next year so he can attend and help. He requests to purchase USA Hockey bags for 1st year equipment rental program of 50 equipment bags. Motion to approve purchasing equipment bags for 1st year Equipment Rental program was given by Jeff Young and 2nd by Darren Krein. Motion carries. Louis will take care of ordering the bags. ii. Warriors game- Friday Oct. 28th- Puck drop at 6:30pm- There will be a lower ticket cost this year- $5 for adults, $3 for kids. Warriors are very excited to come back to Fergus Falls. Tickets will be at the VFW and Concession stand. Dave Thacker is putting a Fergus Falls team together again this year. Motion for FFHA to donate 4 hours of ice time to the MN Warriors team was given by Mike VanVoorhis and 2nd by Jeff Young. Motion carries.

iii. Intermediate nets are needed for the program and Louis is looking into pricing and available storage in the arena for the nets. Sponsorship- Pat Shol- Sign Works is still making signs. A letter will be sent to businesses notifying if last season’s bill has not been paid their signs will be taken down. Pat has a Mite level team that does not have a sponsor at this time. Registration- Laurissa Stigen, Curt Proffit- Registration #’s 197 total. Arena- Pam Muxfeldt- Started working on November schedule. Games-Troy Stenstrom- Squirts games are almost done. Short on games for 10U/ 12U, but should be able to fill them. i. Troy will be stepping down as the Travel Schedule for next season. FFHA board will advertise it is looking for a new scheduler. Troy would like to have someone start training this season so he can be done at the end of the season. Tournaments- Darren Krein- FFHA has some teams coming from the cities, SD, ND, and Canada. All teams will have a Home Tournament this season! i. Jamestown association requested some amount back for sending 5 teams to our tournaments. Motion to refund Jamestown $250 at the end of the season if all 5 teams come and do not cancel was given by Darren Krein and 2nd by Jeff Young. Motion carries. Rookie Program/ 2 and 2 Challenge- Nov. 12 is Try Hockey for Free Day. Website- Cyndi Young- updating website daily. Hockey Treadmill- Matt Koalska- Hailey Johnson and Alyssa Johnson will be doing the training during the season for FFHA teams. Summer Ice- Mike Donaghue, Paul Jensen, Robin Andrews, Niki Welde, Dave Stigen- on hold until have an update from the chiller
Approve Treasurers September 2015 Report a. Income numbers to date as follows: i. Raffle tickets $21,000Home ii. Tournament income $23,000 iii. Total registration income $64,000 iv. Motion to approve the Sept. 2015 Treasurers report as submitted was given by Darren Krein and 2nd by Mike Van Voorhis. Motion carries. Hockey Directors Report- Mike Donaghue, Tim Lill & Todd Hershner a. Motion to approve Joe Greenagel & Shane Partain as coaches was given by Tim Lill and 2nd by Mike VanVoorhis. Motion carries. b. FFHA will have 2 Bantam teams with 23 registrants. Bantam A and Bantam B will be the teams. c. Still need a Bantam B coaches and a House League Director d. Mite coaches- Matt Kennedy, Curt Miller, Dustin Wynn, Mike Donaghue, Austin Shjerve, Matt Cederberg, EJ, Toby Johnson, and Jasey Olson. e. Tim and Todd will be doing Girls clinics. Mike Donaghue is working on coaches for the Boys clinics. New Business a. Update Rules and Regulations for 2016-2017 Season- Motion to approve the Rules and Regulations with changes as discussed at the meeting was given by Jeff Young and 2nd by Tim Lill. Motion carries. Cyndi Young will update the file and put it on the website. b. Finalize list of topics for Parent Meeting- This was discussed and the list was finalized. Cyndi Young will create an agenda for the meeting. Old Business a. Bill Butter’s Camp- Cory Reinertson- There 53 kids registered for camp to date. HMI camp will have clothing for sale & summer camp info at the Warriors game. Cory will have bag tags for all players and coaches sponsored by Fergus Monument & Reinterson Construction. Presidents report- Paul Jensen No rules changes in District 15 as they are in the last year of their rule book.
