Studying a British and European depth study, a thematic study and a historic environment provides opportunities to explore History in a variety of ways. It also enables students to study History from a variety of perspectives (including political, social, economic and cultural) thereby encouraging an appreciation of the diversity of the societies studied and the experiences of these societies. The study of History aims to stimulate and test the development of historical knowledge and understanding, the evaluation and interpretation of evidence and the ability to construct and communicate historical arguments.
