Hereford Youth Football - League Athletics
Hereford Youth Football March 6, 2015 Meeting Minutes Attendance: Brenda Arbogast, Nick Snyder, Steve Duvall, Jennifer Gillispie, David Arbogast, Bryan Hagan, Rich George, Trisha Murphy, April Snyder. Old Business:
Jennifer Gillispie, Trisha Murphy and Rich George all accepted the new Board positions.
New Business:
Jenn Gillispie researched new websites for our program. She looked at formats, as well as price comparisons. Website was voted on and Board chooses to go with League Athletics and have registrations on there an no longer use Stone Alley. Jason Reinecke has volunteered to be in charge of all Fundraising and to be Fundraising Chairman as well as on the board. Board voted and was passed. Rich George has set up three Q&A’s at Prettyboy Elementary 04/16/15 @6:30pm Sparks Elementary 04/21/15@6:30pm, 7th District Elementary 04/22/15 @6:30pm. Rich is making fliers to be sent home with students from all elementary schools. Dave Arbogast is going to contact High school about working closer with them having our youth program support the high school program. Dave Arbogast will set up a paramedic to come speak to coaches and assistant coaches about concussion awareness. Purposed that all Coaches and Assistant coaches become USA Heads up certified and attend a positive coaching alliance class. This must be complete before the season starts in order to continue coaching. Board voted and is passed. Helmets are being picked up for reconditioning March 7, 2015
UCYFL League Business:
Edgewood purposed that 7U become competitive football which would include two referees, 16 plays a quarter with an 80 yard field. This would also include keeping standings and having playoffs Board weighed Pros and Cons and decided we will vote yes at the next league meeting. Next Board Meeting March 16, 2015 @ 6pm
