Our Time Here We were looking to relocate to the countryside and The Homestead was the first and only property we looked at. We instantly fell in love with the charming atmosphere, and it was the inglenook fireplace that really sold us on it. We’ve had the property for the past 22 years since. We spend most of our time in the lounge and in the kitchen, both lovely rooms that echo the character of the property with exposed beams and a homely cottage feel. The local area is quiet and peaceful with very few neighbours. Its position is convenient and provides easy access for Canterbury, Herne Bay and onward travel. It’s a lovely, tranquil place to live in the countryside, but not too far from the city or the coast. There are some really lovely walks through the countryside; through woodlands and fields. It’s a great place to walk the dog or go horse riding, cycling etc. We love the area so much that we have actually built a property next door! The Homestead is a lovely cottage and we have thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
