Linn County, Missouri, the son of Roy Francis and Lula Mae Beck McCollum. He married Helen Louise Kent on February 16, 1946, in Kansas City, MO. He worked for John Deere Harvester, retiring after 34 years in 1978. Harold was a lifelong St. Louis Cardinal’s fan.
Survivors include his wife, Helen McCollum; children, Stanley McCollum, Milan, IL, Karen (Ben) Woolley, Orion, IL, and Kent McCollum, Ft. Madison, IA; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren; sister, Rosalie King, Kansas City, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers; 4 sisters; and a grandson, “Zach”.
