Suggested Preparation Instructions (In recommended order) 1.

Remove pork chops from packaging and pat dry. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.

2. Over medium heat, in a medium skillet, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add pork chops and cook until brown, about 3 minutes per side. 3. While pork chops are cooking, peel apples, cut into quarters and remove apple core. Cut into 1/4 inch slices. 4. Once pork chops are browned, remove from skillet and set aside. 5. In the same skillet add 1 tablespoon butter. Add apples and onions, cooking until onions are translucent, about 4-5 minutes. 6. Turn heat down to low. Add brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg, stir to coat apples and onions. Add yogurt and stir to mix well. 7. Add pork chops to skillet, immersing them into the sauce. Cook for an additional 3-5 minutes until pork chops reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees F. 8. While pork chops cook with sauce, prepare the vegetable medley and the rice in microwave according to package instructions. 9. Serve chops and sauce over rice, vegetables on the side.
