~OBITUARY~ On Saturday evening, the hands of God closed the eyes of Nathaniel Mack. He was the seventh child born to the late Lamanuel and Annie Bell Mack in Epps, Alabama. He confessed Christ and was baptized in the early years of his life and joined Macedonia Baptist church under the leadership of the late Rev. M. H. Harris. Nathaniel attended school in the Tuscaloosa County School system. Throughout the years, he resided in Tuscaloosa, AL, where he worked for 31 years and 1 month before retiring from the Tuscaloosa County Road and Bridge Department. Nathaniel was a great provider and confidant to his wife Laura of 43 years. Nate had a huge personality, which touched the lives of many people he encountered. Whether he was instructing friends on how to barbecue, or giving his son and nephews advice, he always told it like was. Those that shared his life, love and cherished his memories are: Laura Mack wife of 43 years, Son Horatio Hopson Sr., Ex-Daughter-in-law Traci Hopson, 5 grandchildren, Siedah, Broderick, Kendrick, Dominick, and Horatio Jr. He had 7 siblings, 2 brothers: Herman (Pearl), Grant (Jean), 4 sisters: Betsy who preceded him, Jeese (Clem), Eartha (Wardell), Martha, Annie (Robert), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
