JOHN DEERE 1700 MAX EMERGE MODELS SSTUBE INSTALL INSTALLATION GUIDE – PART #38499 - FOR JD UNITS WITH INDIVIDUAL SEED BOXES – JD 1700 MAX EMERGE MODELS (Read Instructions Completely before Beginning Installation)
Installation Steps: Before you begin, verify the “package contents” to ensure all items are included.
Step #1: Remove seed box. Use 3/8” nut and bolt for installation of part number 38499.
Step #2: Insert SS tube through slot at the end of your down force adjustment area.

Step #3: Locate 2 existing holes in seed box support bracket. Choose either hole based on your preference of dispensing.
Step #4: Re-install the seed box back on yor planter row unit. Inspect your installation for proper alignment and tigthen down securely.
Step #5:
Optional: Insert 1/4” poly tubing and cut to desired length for better in furrow ferilizer placement (Rebounder is optional).
