Workshop The 5th international Ra-Rn workshop will take place from July 21-25, 2014, in the Instituto de Estudos do Mar Almirante Paulo Moreira (IEAPM) at Hotel A Ressurgência (www.ieapm.mar.mil.br/hotel.htm), Arraial do Cabo, Rio de Janerio. This venue is within easy walking distance to restaurants and in front of beautiful Praia dos Anjos beach, which will allow workshop participants plenty of time for informal discussions.
Workshop Objective The purpose of this workshop is to provide a forum for presentations and open discussions regarding the latest developments and new directions in the application and measurement of radium isotopes and radon as tracers in the environment. As a conclusion of the last meeting, one day will be dedicated to practical activities related to Ra and Rn measurements.
