Inniscarra GAA Annual Cul Camp 2014 Monday 21st July to Fri 26th July Cul camp starts next Monday, 21st July. Registration is at 10am and sessions will start at 10.30. The day finishes at 2.30pm. All details are posted on the club website. Camp starts at 10.30 every other morning. The website is now closed for online booking so please contact Don, 08729998681 or Dora, 087 270 8578, to book your place. Cul Camp gear will be given out at the end of Monday’s session. Let’s hope the weather will stay fine for us for the week. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------Congratulations to John O’Callaghan who received his Muskerry GAA/Auld Triangle Sports Star Award for the month of June on Monday night last. John was recognised for his role by the Award’s Committee as Captain of the Cork Intermediate Hurling Team who won the Munster Intermediate title recently and also his contribution to his club. The presentation was attended by family, team mates, member’s of Inniscarra GAA club, Mr Bob Ryan Chairman Cork County Board, Members of Muskerry Board and the Awards committee. Club Shop - The club shop will be open 6.00pm to 7.00pm every Fri evening. All club gear available. Give your views on the future of Hurling GAA President, Liam O’Neill established the Hurling 2020 Committee to look at the game of hurling and to submit proposals for change as appropriate to ensure the improvement of the game over the next 20 years. The committee, under the Chairmanship of former All-Ireland Senior Hurling winning manager Liam Sheedy (Tipperary) has begun the process of consulting widely within the Association at all levels and with GAA supporters to ascertain the areas which require the most immediate attention. With this in mind, Hurling 2020 have launched a survey which will allow all participants to be entered in to a draw for 2 tickets to the 2014 All-Ireland Senior Hurling Final. This survey is a key part of the consultation process and its aim is to collate the feedback from the hurling community about the game as it stands and what you would like to see in its future. Your submission to this survey will form the basis of the committee’s report in the autumn of 2014 with a view to tabling motions as required to the 2015 GAA Annual Congress.
