If you love my Groovy Stamp (and who wouldn't?), you'll love the new "outie" version of this design. This is the second in a line of my "Innie/Outie" series of stamps. The first was introduced several years ago with the Steampunk Innie/Outie set. Look for more of these reverse-pattern texture stamps in several of my favorite designs, coming soon! It's a great way to get a negative version of the original design. You can find this latest addition on the Texture page of www.lisapavelka.com

"Let's Get Wired" Cruise!
No, I'm not advising you imbibe, but to join me on my next cruise. September 2106, may seem like a long time from now, but it'll be here before you know it. Registration is now open for our West Coast sailing from Vancouver, British Columbia and sail down the West Coast to San Diego. This cruise is four nights, which makes it very affordable and will require less vacation time than most of our workshops at sea. You'll still get the incredible four-workshop package along with evening demos from all of the instructors.
We're "Getting Wired!" Chainmaille Lady - Lauren Andersen, master metal smith Anne Mitchell, and Art Clay World President Jackie Truty, join me for this event which focuses on mixed media applications with all types of wire. I'll https://ui.constantcontact.com/visualeditor/visual_editor_preview.jsp?agent.uid=1121263033971&format=html&printFrame=true

be adding clay into the mix ,as I teach coiled bezel settings that are ideal not only for use with clays, but also resin and focal frames. I'll also offer a bonus project in my class. To check out all the workshops, visit the http://www.artacrosstheoceans.com website for full details. As always, all students receive a generous swag bag full of creative goodies for class and to take home. The giving keeps giving throughout the cruise as we continue to hand out surprises and have daily giveaways.
You can also join the "Art Across the Oceans" Facebook page ( www.facebook.com/artacrosstheoceans ) by clicking the "like it" feature. You can chat with past and future cruises, view photos from past cruises and see why most cruisers come back over and over to attend this yearly event. Studio Sneak Peak

Here's a look into my studio as I have it set up today. I have to confess it's not always this clean! If you're like me, whenever you clean or organize your creative space (whether it's the kitchen table or a dedicated room), you probably can't find a thing afterwards!

Over the years, I've had a variety of spaces to work in. I'm currently spoiled with double the space I've been used to for the past two decades so you can see I've spread out enough to add a "tread desk." Yes, that's a treadmill with a raised desk, so I can walk when I'm working on my laptop. Sitting takes a toll on all of us and is major reason so many of us suffer back pain (especially lower pain) as we get older. It's so important to try and get up and move around for a few minutes and stretch once every hour! Hey, what's happening here? Let's take a closer look at what I'm working on right now! Wanna play along with me? Keep reading for my latest image transfer tutorial below.

You can create incredible coasters out of ordinary ceramic by following the simple steps in my latest tutorial found on the "Learning Center" page at www.lisapavelka.com You can take simple, square tiles and my image transfers to make a one or a whole set of these handy, artful coasters. Create themes like Travel (as shown), Western, Asian or another of the many available from my pre-printed transfers or choose your own using the Blank Inkjet Transfer paper (both found in the website store). What a great project to protect your table from sweating glasses as the heat of summer rolls around. It's not too soon to think of the holidays and gift giving for family and friends.
