21 pieced blocks 35 half-square triangle blocks 1 ½ yards of feather 1 ½ yards of silver dot 4 yards backing 5/8 yard binding
Cut 18 10 ½ “squares out of each background fabric. Draw a diagonal line on the back of the lightest squares. Lay them right sides together. Sew ¼” away from each side of the line. Cut on the line. Press to the darker triangle. Open block and square up to 9 ½”. Alternate pieced blocks with background blocks and arrange them so that the colors of the blocks match up. This creates the diagonal line of the quilt. The background blocks on two sides can be arranged to carry on the diagonal line or however you would like.
