Head Lice Prevention Bug Busters clinics provide head lice services for children and their families. If children and/or their family members are found to have head lice by the Public Health Nurse at the clinic, low cost medicated shampoo and combs are available. Location: Cathy Wever Elementary School Every Wednesday 3:30-5:30. Kiwanis East Boys and Girls Club Every Thursday 3:30-5:30. If your child has long hair, we recommend putting it up in a ponytail while they are at school. This will help prevent lice from spreading between children while they play.
Missing Clothing Our lost and found is bursting at the seams! Please label your child’s belongings to ensure they arrive home safely.

What Is My Child Doing At School? A typical day in kindergarten is pretty busy! Students participate in daily whole group, small group and individual activities. You will notice that your child will not come home with a lot of paper and pencil work. Most learning is done through play-based and inquiry-based learning. This means that students are encouraged to problem solve, experiment and develop their skills in a way appropriate to their learning abilities. FOCUS FOR MARCH:
