EACH WEEK THE COACHES WILL NOMINATE 3 PLAYERS FROM EACH TEAM THAT EXEMPLIFY OUTSTANDING EFFORT AND LEADERSHIP IN THEIR POSITION
LFLA STARS OF THE WEEK U9 ASSISTS: OLIVER BROWN GROUND BALLS: JACK RICE EFFORT: GRAHAM GARRIGAN Coach Degen: The LFLA U11 team played their best game of the year this past Saturday against an always tough Kenilworth team. 6 different boys scored and a defenseman (Charlie Silver) even carried the ball up the field and made a great pass to get an assist on a goal. The winning score was 8-2 and the score did not even show how much the team controlled the flow of the game. The leading scorer was Connor Armstrong with 3 goals. The other goals came from Will Rolander, Ben Winebrenner, Brooks Bahr, Gavin Hone, and Michael Cassidy. The defense all played well and did a great job keeping their sticks on the gloves of the Kenilworth players. Izzy Rube again played well in goal holding the other side to 2 goals. Everyone contributed to the victory and the passing and catching is improving every practice and every game!!!
