You will make 2 different small quilts, cut them in half and join them--ending up with 2 small quilts, each featuring a Split Personality.

Two different 7” squares of background fabric Two 12” squares of backing fabric 2 different sets of scraps about 2” square for Lips, Eye Whites, Eye Iris, Pupil, Eyelid, Cheeks Make your features as different from each other and as whimsical as you like! 2 different 4” x 5” scraps for Head Pattern piece 2 different 6” x 6” scraps for Hair Slivers of organza for Hair (I’ll bring some to share) Two different 3” strips for top and side borders (1 for each quilt) Fabric to finish the raw edges—traditional binding or your choice of techniques 2 pieces of different ribbon trims, 1” x 6” each 5” x 7” piece of Sulky Ultra Solvy—a precut packet is available for students @ $1.00 Two 2” x 12” strips of Sulky Heat Away Two 8 ½” x 11” pieces and two 1” x 6” strips of Steam-A-Seam 2 or Lite Steam-A-Seam 2 Two 14” squares of thin cotton batting Thread—I recommend: YLI 40 wt Cotton Thread, Black Sulky Bobbin Thread, black—pre wind your bobbin, please Neutral piecing thread Optional decorative threads: Sulky 30wt Cotton Blendables, Sulky Holoshimmer Metallic Sulky KK 2000 Temporary Spray Adhesive Iron, ironing surface, press cloth (optional—we have some at the shop) Black Sharpie Marker (fine point, NOT ultra fine) Basic Sewing Supplies. If you aren’t sure what to bring, please download the list from our website or ask for a copy at the quilt counter in the shop. Including: Sewing machine, clean and ready to go. Please don’t bring a brand new machine that you have never used. It is important that you are familiar with the way your machine functions! Darning/free motion foot Small sharp scissors and large shears Size 90/14 Topstitch needles Machine extension table, if you have one. (Highly recommended) I look forward to meeting you!
