HOUSTON – Every time Houston Astros All Star Catcher Brian McCann hits a home run this season, he and a group of generous fans will help knock childhood cancer out of the park through the 8th annual “McCann 46 Home Run Challenge.” Over the past seven seasons, 375 supporters have donated more than $219,000 to the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research (Rally) through the McCann Home Run Challenge. Fans can join Brian McCann’s efforts to fight childhood cancer by going to RallyFoundation.org/mccann-home-run-challenge and pledging their support. “Every school day in America, 46 families hear the devastating news that their child has been diagnosed with cancer,” said Brian McCann. “My wife Ashley and I are committed to the fight against childhood cancer, and the best way we can win this fight is to continue to raise money to fund the most promising research possible.
