Member2Member Class Supply List Class Name: T Shirt Quilt

YOU WILL BE RECEIVING AN EMAIL FROM CATHY ONCE YOU REGISTER FOR THE CLASS WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/CLARIFICATION IN PRE-CUTTING YOUR T SHIRTS.

TWO CLASSES: OVERVIEWS AND GOALS CLASS #1: Thursday, October 12, 2017 Laurel Manor: Adams Room Time: 12 noon to 4 pm. Discussion of T Shirt Quilt variables and the technique that is used in this class. You will apply fusible interfacing and make your final block cuts using the templates provided by Cathy. You will NOT need your sewing machine.

BRING: Pre-cut T Shirt panels/blocks (from at least 15 shirts) with logos or themes you want captured including as much border on all sides of it as possible. Your final blocks will be cut after adding the interfacing at this class. Smaller areas can be included, also with the largest borders you can include: sleeve cuts, a unique collar, a button-up area with collar or pocket, etc. BRING WHAT IS LEFT OF THE ORIGINAL T SHIRT! Good Fabric Scissors Rotary Cutting System with adequate size mat Fusible Interfacing: Cathy has found the best results working with June Tailor T-Shirt Project Fusible Interfacing “60” x 72”, which can be purchased online. We found the best prices at Amazon.com and WalMart.com. One package will be adequate for up to 15 blocks; two for more. Iron, pad and pressing cloth (large piece of 100% cotton protecting T Shirt designs from the irons’ surfaces.) There will be several ironing boards available in the room.

CLASS #2: Wednesday, October 18, 2017 SeaBreeze: Clearwater Room Time: 9 am to 4 pm You will be determining your lay-out and piecing your quilt top.

BRING: Above supplies and project Sewing Machine in good working order with foot pedal, cord, thread, bobbin and needles Pins Ruler Small Scissors for Trimming Threads Seam ripper (Hopefully you won't use this)
