Peace Corps/Mozambique Visa Requirements and Instructions PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Incomplete or delayed submission of the visa application can result in removal from your program. To apply for your visa: Download and print the visa application located in the Visa folder

Please print and complete the application, using the Mozambique Visa Form Example template as a guide. If you make a mistake on your visa application, please fill out a new form. The embassy will not accept visa applications that contain information which has been whited out or crossed out.
Before printing, confirm that you have: Indicated “Single entry” for number of entries. Typed an indication of gender under “Sexo.” Indicated both place and date of birth. Indicated your Nationality as “U.S. Citizen.” Left all passport information blank. We will fill in this information for you after your Peace Corps passport is processed. Indicated your Profession/Occupation as “Peace Corps Volunteer.” Used the Peace Corps’ HQ address for “Institution, organization or firm you work”:

Indicated your permanent address, which is your Home of Record. Used the start date of Pre-Service Training (PST) (indicated in your Invitation email) for date of entry. Used the PC/Mozambique Country Director’s name and office address for “Address of residence in Mozambique.” (See Mozambique Visa Form Example template.)
Once application is complete and reviewed please: Print 1 visa form Be sure to sign and date your visa application on page 2 in the section requesting “Signature of applicant or of the applying entity” and not on the last line. Sign visa form legibly so your name can be read from your signature. Paperclip 2 - 2”x 2” photos (in addition to the 2 photos needed for your passport application) to your visa application. Please print your name on the back of all photos.
Send your visa and passport applications (and all supporting items) to the address a mailing service (DHL, UPS, or FedEx). Please retain your tracking number.
If you have trouble accessing the visa application form, please contact the Country Desk Officer at the extension or email listed on your Invitation email.
