Bishop Ricken celebrates Mass at Redgranite Correctional Institution, extends God’s mercy to inmates

We are looking for folks like these — business owners, supervisors, anyone with management responsibilities — who live their faith in the workplace.

The Compass kindly requests nominations for the 4th Annual “Faith that Works” Awards. Now is the time to nominate a manager, supervisor, business owner or business person — a practicing Catholic — for these prestigious awards. The 2017 awards will be presented to individuals who have influenced the workplace through business practices that reflect the teachings of Jesus Christ and his church and who share of themselves in their parishes and/or communities. Business people will be honored in both profit and non-profit organizations. The “Faith that Works” nomination form along with requirements and nominee criteria are available online at www.thecompassnews.org.

REQUIREMENTS • Must be currently employed in the 16 counties of the Diocese of Green Bay • Nominee must be an active member of his or her parish • Must be active in at least two parish or spiritually based community programs or organizations AWARD CRITERIA (MUST PROVIDE SAMPLES) 1. Occupation (note whether for-profit or nonprofit) Describe the nominee’s position in the workplace. 2. Organizations/Boards List all parish, diocesan and/or spiritually-based organizations to which the nominee belongs. Identify any leadership roles with each organization.
